The Shepherd's Rest is situated on Geiselittle Farm on the outskirts of Thurso - a working farm with beef cattle and sheep owned by our family who have farmed in this area for three generations. Having owned the farm next door since the 1950's, we recently bought Geiselittle Farm which has two beautiful houses for holiday accommodation. The cottage is originally where the farm's shepherd and his family would have lived, and is around 200m from the main farm house. With its own private enclosed garden and hot tub house to the rear, The Shepherd's Rest feels very private and restful whilst only being two miles from all the amenities of the town, situated just off the A9, the main road leading to the North.
